We are seeking a professional fire inspector for the Keski-Uudenmaan fire department’s Prevention of Accidents unit. The role includes conducting fire inspections and supervision tasks, providing guidance on accident prevention and self-preparedness, issuing specific statements and decisions, coordinating with stakeholders and delivering customer-focused services, contributing to safety communications, and performing other duties within the accident prevention service package. The position requires a suitable AMK degree (e.g., safety and risk management) or a subordinate/senior officer degree under Fire Act 407/2011. A conditional appointment awaits health clearance and a security clearance; the selected candidate must agree to drug testing. B-class driving license and proficient Finnish (spoken and written) are required; Swedish language skills are valued. Additional assets include proactive, autonomous work style, negotiation and communication skills, ICT proficiency, ability to produce clear documents, willingness to develop, and interest in further expertise.
