Night receptionist

We are seeking a NIGHT RECEPTIONIST for Star Arctic Hotel in Saariselka. Star Arctic Hotel is located in Saariselka's mountain landscape, on Kaunispää peak in Finnish Lapland. The hotel offers guests high-quality accommodation, restaurant and program services in the midst of Lapland's unique nature. An international clientele arrives to experience the magic of Lapland, the northern lights and Arctic adventures, and our reception team ensures every guest feels welcome around the clock. We are now looking for a night receptionist for the winter season. On night shifts you will be the hotel’s most important contact during the night, taking care of the reception operations and ensuring the night runs safely and smoothly. As a night receptionist you will monitor reservations, prepare arrivals and schedules of upcoming guests, and handle other administrative tasks during the night. You will work independently at night, while being an important part of the hotel's professional and international team. The contract starts around 15.11.2026 and continues until 31.3.2027. Working hours are 90 hours / 3 weeks. We expect from you: - Previous experience in reception work, especially night shifts - Customer-oriented, responsible and solution-focused approach - Ability to work independently - Thoroughness, organizational skills and ability to handle pressure - Experience with hotel systems, especially knowledge of Mews is an advantage.
