Reporting to the Director of Consumer Insights, you will be responsible for research projects that deliver insights regarding Zynga’s portfolio as well as the overall gaming marketplace. You will be independently managing a variety of projects, qualitative and quantitative, across marketing and game design initiatives. You will be hands-on, from start to finish, and your work will help drive innovations and improvements for both live games and new games in development. A successful candidate should have extensive experience designing and running primary research, analyzing and visualizing data, and socializing information across an organization. Some international travel will be required to attend research in person and to visit stakeholders. Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining research panels is a significant advantage. While previous gaming industry experience is not required, a passion for gaming, especially mobile gaming, is a valuable asset for this role. What You'll Do Partner with stakeholders to design and scope primary research methodologies that align with key business objectives. Independently execute diverse qualitative and quantitative research projects, from facilitating player interviews to leading complex segmentation studies. Manage relationships with external research vendors and internal organizational partners. Build and maintain high-quality research panels to support Zynga’s ongoing research needs. What You Bring 4+ years of experience in a custom primary research function, either client or vendor side. Demonstrated proficiency with a comprehensive range of qualitative and quantitative primary research methodologies. Experience with survey tools such as Alchemer and Qualtrics. Strong interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build cooperative and productive relationships with internal and external partners. Fluent English is essential; proficiency in Turkish is a plus. Bonus Points Experience building and maintaining sample panels (client or vendor side). A strong passion for games.
