We are seeking a skilled and development‑minded early childhood education teacher for Ylästö Daycare in Vantaa. The permanent position begins by agreement. In the upcoming term you will work in the preschool group, and in your team there is another early childhood education teacher, a childminder and an assistant. Ylästö Daycare is a six‑group daycare located near Ylästö School, with spacious facilities for quality early childhood education. The daycare is surrounded by nearby playgrounds and forests and offers excellent opportunities for outdoor activities along the river valley nature reserve. We regularly utilize opportunities offered by the local environment in our activities. We focus on building children’s friendship and emotional skills and on the child’s participation. It is also important to us that interactions with children and parents are unhurried, sensitive and collaborative. Ylästö Daycare is part of the Ylästö unit, which includes three daycares. Our unit is led by a dual leadership model, where one daycare director is responsible for staff and the other for pedagogy. In our unit we implement inclusive leadership, giving space to your professional expertise. Ylästö Daycare is located in a nature‑oriented residential area and offers lovely opportunities for hiking.
