We are looking for a PROJECT MANAGER to take primary responsibility for delivering backup power projects in data center environments. You will be responsible for the entire project from the design phase through commissioning and handover. As Project Manager, you will ensure that projects progress according to the agreed schedule, budget and quality targets. You will lead practical project delivery, coordinate cooperation between different stakeholders, and ensure that safety and the customer’s objectives are considered at every stage. You will work on significant data center projects and other critical infrastructure sites. The role offers the opportunity to lead projects whose success plays an important part in ensuring customers’ operational reliability. Your responsibilities include: Project coordination and management Coordinating backup power contracts end to end Monitoring project schedules, costs and execution Leading site meetings and delivering projects in accordance with YSE Ensuring projects progress smoothly in cooperation with customers, designers and technical experts Procurement and logistics Coordinating logistics, including generators, cables and fuel tanks Handling project-specific procurement Arranging machinery and equipment moves and demanding lifts Subcontractors and resources Tendering, procuring and coordinating subcontractors Resourcing and scheduling commissioning personnel and installers Ensuring smooth site operations and safe working conditions Design and documentation Coordinating and guiding design work in line with project objectives Managing project documentation, inspection documents and handover documents You will succeed in this role if you have: Suitable technical education and experience leading technical projects, for example in data center, energy or industrial environments Strong experience in project schedule, resource and cost management, and coordinating several stakeholders The ability to drive projects forward purposefully in changing circumstances and solve challenges effectively Excellent collaboration, communication and organisational skills A proactive, responsible and solution-oriented approach to work An understanding of technical systems and readiness to work with customers and in site environments Fluent Finnish and English Readiness to travel as required by the work in Finland and, when necessary, elsewhere in the Nordic countries Why kW-set?
