Pharmacy Assistant

Job description: Join the diverse tasks of a pharmacy assistant within the Varsinais-Suomi pharmaceutical supply chain at Tyks hospital pharmacy. Your primary place of work at the start will be the hospital pharmacy of Turku University Hospital. You will participate in various pharmaceutical supply tasks, offering opportunities to broaden your skills and find your strengths within hospital pharmacy. In Varsinais-Suomi's pharmaceutical logistics you will work with medicine logistics, hospital departments, as well as clean room manufacturing and cytotoxic dose preparation. The duties are varied, and you will have opportunities to internally train for different roles. You can influence the development of your own skills and build a career in diverse hospital pharmacy environments. The contract starts on 1 November 2026 or by agreement. We value enthusiasm for hospital pharmacy and a desire to learn and develop your own expertise. Willingness to handle high-risk medications is required, as is good Finnish language skills. The eligibility requirement is a basic qualification in the field or a previously completed school-based qualification in the area.
