About the role
The Facility Manager will work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, Quality, Security, IT, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the facility can safely and consistently support production. The role requires a hands-on leader who can operate in a fast-paced environment with a focus on equipment uptime, safety, compliance, and rapid problem solving.
Job Details
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day operation and maintenance of the manufacturing facility and associated infrastructure.
- Maintain critical building systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, compressed air, plumbing, fire/life-safety systems, lighting, backup power, and other facility utilities.
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve facility reliability.
- Respond to outages and emergencies, coordinate troubleshooting, and drive permanent corrective action.
- Plan and execute facility upgrades, renovations, and capital projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 7+ years of facilities, plant engineering, construction, or building operations experience, preferably within aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics, advanced manufacturing, or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of experience leading facility operations, projects, vendors, or technical teams.
- Strong working knowledge of industrial HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire/life-safety, and building automation systems.
- Experience supporting active manufacturing operations where facility downtime can directly affect production.
