Short-Term Substitute Roles

Through this application, you can apply for short-term substitute work with the City of Riihimäki. You can work as a substitute class teacher, subject teacher or school assistant in basic education, or as an early childhood education teacher, childcare worker or day-care assistant in early childhood education. Substitute assignments usually last 1–3 days. You can apply if you are studying for one of the roles listed above, have relevant professional training or have previous experience in similar work. Applicants must present proof of identity and any employment and qualification certificates at the interview. Students must bring a transcript of completed studies. Anyone working with children and young people must have a valid criminal record extract issued less than six months ago.
