About the role

We are seeking a motivated early childhood teacher with child-centered approach for a permanent position at Kirkkojärven päiväkoti. The role for the 2026-2027 season will be in the kindergarten’s preschool group in the rooms of the daycare. In the team there is another early childhood teacher, a childminder and a teaching assistant who also acts as a support person for the children. Kirkkojärven päiväkoti has seven child groups. We value diversity and focus on language and interaction in every group. Our staff share strong professional skills and an understanding of the meaningfulness of early childhood education. You may be a soon-to-be graduate or an experienced professional. Induction is planned for each employee individually. As an early childhood teacher you will act as team leader and be responsible for the pedagogy of your own group. You will also participate in multidisciplinary cooperation with the unit’s language and culture teacher and the broad-based special educator. An important part of your work is to contribute to development of pedagogy across the unit in cooperation with the rest of the staff.
