A unique blend of natural beauty, cultural sites and traditional industrial family companies defines Mäntyharju. The municipality of Mäntyharju, with over 7,000 residents, is situated in South Savo and becomes busier in summer. It offers excellent services and abundant outdoor and recreational activities, accessible by rail or car from either direction. We are seeking a substitute teacher for Finnish language and literature for Mäntyharju High School for the period 5 October 2026 to 5 June 2027. The high school enrolls about 110 students and is notable for its strong student-teacher collaboration and a stable local community. Salary is in accordance with OVTES collective agreement. The substitute period covers only high school teaching for the upcoming academic year 2026–2027. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as required by Finnish law, and a four-month trial period applies.
