UX/UI Designer

Description: As a UX/UI Designer, you are a vital player in helping our clients succeed with digital commerce. With your knowledge about design best practices, you’re able to successfully design and optimise core user journeys, and website content based on the strategy and requirements provided by our clients and senior consultants. Your role will be adjusted to meet your specialisation as well as your competency areas. Responsibilities: Work on UX & UI design in the context of eCommerce and omnichannel Design experiences that both build digital brand experiences and drive high conversion rates Design unique and effective user interfaces by aligning visual design, user experience and technical implementation Bring the best in web- and frontend design into play to create outstanding digital experiences Collaborate and communicate with colleagues and clients within and outside your team Share your skills and experience with colleagues and clients Juggle excellent deliveries and rapidly changing client needs Work in agile projects Examples of what you will be doing: You will be part of a strong design team delivering exceptional work UX Insights & User Data Customer Journeys UX Audits Pre-studies / Project Discoveries Prototypes Design Guides Full Front-end Design Minimum Requirements: A design portfolio is a must, however, any designs or projects you did in university will be considered Degree in graphic design or any related design field Minimum 4 years of experience at an agency or online retailer Knowledge of XD or Figma Attention to detail is key Good communication skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Fast learning and being able to work under pressure Strategic thinker that can offer creative solutions and ideas, with the ability to translate them into actionable items Based on experience and qualification we offer the following: Opportunity to work on some of South Africa’s top retail brands Huge exposure to international developers, design experts, project managers and development processes Opportunity to manage complex projects in a booming industry (e-commerce)
