General Practitioner

We are now hiring a General Practitioner for student health care at our Porin service point, full-time (38 h 15 min/week) and permanent, starting 30 September 2026 or by agreement. The position can also be part-time upon your request. We work in a hybrid model combining on-site and remote reception work. You will work with a versatile group of young adults facing typical health issues. The work emphasizes mental health, dermatology, musculoskeletal symptoms, infections and sexual health. Students are directed to the clinic through care need assessment. We use BeeHealth’s digital platform, and the job includes remote consultations as well as chat consultations. We offer thorough orientation, support from colleagues and supervisor, good consultation opportunities, training to develop your skills, and a chance to influence your job description. Salary and terms follow the agreements of YTHS and the Finnish Medical Association. The task-specific salary range is: general practitioners: 6668–7348 €/month; specialists: 7410–8167 €/month. A personal salary portion (6–24%) may be included in the monthly pay. Certificates and statements are paid separately according to TES. We provide comprehensive occupational health services and ePassi perk and arrange wellness activities at service points. At YTHS, six months of general medicine specialty training (YEK) can be accepted. We expect a medical doctor degree or specialist degree and licensed to practice in health care. We also value good communication skills. In addition, good English and adequate Swedish are considered beneficial.
