Are you ready to play a central role in shaping the future of insurance? LähiTapiola is undergoing one of its most significant transformations in its history: a complete renewal of the core system for non-life insurance. We are looking for a Development Manager to join this strategically important project. As a Development Manager you will work as part of the renewal of LähiTapiola’s non-life insurance core system. You will influence how the Guidewire solution is utilized and developed in close collaboration with business, development teams, international system vendors and other partners. You will not design individual technical solutions, but lead the development of the system as a whole from business objectives. You will assess change needs, coordinate development initiatives and ensure that solutions support business needs and the long-term evolution of the system. Your work centers on collaboration, portfolio management and decision support. You will serve as a link between business, development teams, architects and system vendors and actively contribute to LähiTapiola’s international Guidewire networks and share your view of the system development roadmap with the vendor roadmap.

Requirements
- Broad experience in developing business-critical systems
- Fintech/financial services background preferred, ideally in insurance
- Ability to connect business needs with system development and grasp large-scale interdependencies
- Experience with production-grade systems, multi-vendor environments
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in Finnish and English
- Independent, proactive work style
