About the role

Glean is the Work AI platform that helps everyone work smarter with AI. The Growth Data Scientist will be the quantitative partner to Growth Product, Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing, turning ambiguous growth opportunities into measurable product bets, building measurement and experimentation systems, and using behavioral data to identify value opportunities. Responsibilities include defining and evolving growth measurement across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, resurrection, and expansion; owning core metrics such as WAU, activation, engagement intensity, retention, and feature adoption; building and analyzing end-to-end funnels; sizing opportunities across onboarding, product discovery, education, lifecycle messaging, collaboration and virality, and new product surfaces; designing and analyzing A/B tests and quasi-experiments; developing segments; informing roadmap decisions; building reusable growth datasets and dashboards; leading cross-functional data science projects; and driving initiatives from problem framing to recommendations. The role sits within the Growth and Enterprise Readiness Data Science team in a hybrid San Francisco setup. Qualifications include 7+ years in quantitative data science or growth analytics, strong statistics and causal inference knowledge, proficiency in SQL and Python or R, experience building durable data assets, and the ability to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
