Join Etteplan as a Power Electronics Engineer to design and develop power electronic systems for various industrial and technological projects. You will work on modern power converter topologies, analyze power losses, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions. Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop power electronic circuits (AC/DC, DC/DC) from watts to hundreds of kilowatts
  • Select topologies and modern components (IGBT, Si/SiC MOSFET, GaN)
  • Analyze power losses, thermal loads, MTBF, and design transformers
  • Solve EMI/EMC issues and prepare systems for HALT testing
  • Design with DFM/DFT, DFMEA, Worst Case, and Fault Tree Analysis
  • Collaborate with firmware, embedded, RF, and mechanical teams
  • Create technical documentation and report progress

Requirements

  • Master's or engineer's degree in electronics, electrical engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in power electronics design in R&D environment
  • Knowledge of power converter topologies and ability to design both power and control circuits
  • Practical experience with EMI/EMC, HALT, MTBF, DFM/DFT
  • Simulation tools (LTSpice, PSpice, PSIM, Matlab, Plecs) and EDA tools (Altium, OrCAD, Allegro)
  • Proficiency in English (min. B2) and international work experience
