We are seeking a project manager / construction site supervisor for a fixed-term project assignment in South Ostrobothnia, Finland. The role involves coordinating furniture installation projects on construction sites, monitoring progress, coordinating with clients, contractors and installers, and ensuring quality and schedules. The project scope will be confirmed later, with several tender processes ongoing as future projects are prepared for start in the region. Responsibilities include coordinating and supervising furniture installation projects on sites, tracking progress and ensuring deadlines, quality control through site walks and inspections, collaborating with clients, contractors and installers, participating in project meetings, solving on-site issues, documenting projects, reporting and ensuring communication flow, and handling administrative site tasks, inspections and records. Working hours are primarily day shifts, on-site in a project environment, with flexibility as required. Requirements include construction-related education (construction foreman education considered an asset), experience supervising construction sites, coordinating or project management, knowledge of furniture installations or interior manufacturing phases considered an asset, understanding of construction processes and site practices, ability to manage schedules and multiple phases simultaneously, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, ability to work independently and solve problems in a practical way. We also value a firm and responsible approach, good collaboration skills, ability to remain calm under pressure, practical and solution-oriented attitude, and initiative. Language: fluent Finnish; English is considered an asset. We offer a fixed-term project assignment, a responsible role in construction projects, a competitive salary (about 4,000 €/month depending on experience), and a collective agreement under Puuteollisuuden toimihenkilöitä koskeva työehtosopimus. The position is in South Ostrobothnia with a day-work schedule. Start as soon as a suitable candidate is found and project begins.
