Site Manager

The role is to oversee the delivery of maintenance contracts in the Helsinki area. You will work closely with the site manager, colleagues and your own team. You are responsible for the execution of the maintenance project from bidding and planning to completion, including scheduling, budgeting, procurements, reporting, invoicing and ensuring scope requirements are met. Lead staffing and resource planning together with the site manager and colleagues. You will also ensure quality assurance, report deviations and corrective actions, identify additional works and participate in related sales activities. You will contribute to developing innovative maintenance practices and digitalisation. You manage the whole project from proposal to completion, ensure on-time delivery within budget, guarantee quality, report deviations and drive corrective actions. You act as a supervisor to your team: recruit, onboard, support wellbeing and capabilities, and help the team develop skills. You remove obstacles for supervisors and workers to keep daily work flowing. You act as a liaison between the customer, your team and other stakeholders and participate in maintenance development and digitalisation with colleagues. Your office is located in the Helsinki metropolitan area and you will travel regularly within the project area. The employment is permanent and starts by agreement. The role requires relevant technical education (construction foreman, engineer or DI), prior supervisory experience in maintenance projects, willingness to develop leadership skills, driving license and own car, comfort with IT and goal-oriented work style, teamwork and good communication, and willingness to share expertise. The final duties and responsibilities will be tailored to the candidate’s abilities. It is also advantageous to have experience in leading district-scale projects, customer collaboration for maintenance projects or digitalisation of maintenance.
