Our clients operate in the fields of machinery and equipment manufacturing, electrical and energy industries, electronics and telecommunications, marine, defense, cleantech, and medical sectors. **We are seeking a Mechanical Designer or Senior Mechanical Designer for our customer projects** **Role** We are looking for a Mechanical Designer or Senior Mechanical Designer to work full-time on customer projects within our southern/western team, whose members are located in the Helsinki, Turku, and Tampere regions. Currently, we are especially recruiting for projects in the Helsinki metropolitan area. We typically work in a hybrid model at our clients' sites according to their hybrid work practices, and aim to meet with our team once a month at Mecaplan’s office. Our assignments are often long-term and extensive, allowing you to delve deeply into the core activities of the client organization and utilize your professional strengths. Usually, 1-2 Mecaplan employees work on the same project, sometimes larger teams. Tasks are tailored to the individual, with the goal of long-term employment and opportunities for growth in different roles. We are happy to discuss potential client projects that match your background and strengths as the process progresses. The basic salary level for the position is approximately €3,500–€5,500 per month depending on experience. We also have bonus systems and good employee benefits. **Keys to success in the role** We seek versatile professionals for our upcoming client projects, so you may be an experienced mechanical designer or a motivated professional with a few years of relevant experience on a growth path. We expect you to have a relevant educational background, such as a mechanical engineering degree or a master's in engineering. Previous experience in mechanical design within our client industries and diverse working environments is valued. You are proficient with 3D design software such as NX, SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, and familiar with PDM systems. You work fluently in English, and Finnish language skills are also appreciated.
