We are seeking a qualified early childhood education teacher for a permanent position at Veturin Daycare. Veturin Daycare has two groups: Flamingot, for children aged 3-5, and Papukaijat, for children aged 0-3. Our staff includes two early childhood education teachers and two childcare assistants. The daycare is centrally located in Kilo, with good transportation links and close to various sports and cultural services. You may express a preference for working with a specific age group. As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating pedagogical activities for your group. You will also serve as a team leader. Qualifications: According to the Finnish Act on Early Childhood Education (540/2018). A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education, including early childhood education teacher training, or a degree in social and health care from a university of applied sciences (early childhood education). Recent graduates in early childhood education are also considered. We require good interaction skills and organizational ability. Implementing high-quality early childhood education requires planning, observation skills, and proficiency in Finnish. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as required by the Criminal Records Act (6.2 §). The Infectious Diseases Act requires those working with preschool children to have their tuberculosis risk assessed.
