Process Lead (General Ledger & Asset Accounting), Espoo - Academic Work

You will lead the General Ledger and Asset Accounting teams, ensuring efficient daily operations and timely period-end closings. As the operational lead, you will balance team management with high-level process development and system implementation tasks to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. Lead and coordinate General Ledger and Asset Accounting teams globally. Oversee, maintain, and develop GL and Asset Accounting processes and documentation. Ensure period-end closing tasks are completed accurately according to global schedules. Participate in the D365 ERP implementation, including data migration and configuration. Manage work distribution, holiday planning, and substitutions within the teams. Drive digitalization and automation initiatives across the process cycle. Support the finance organization with change management and problem-solving. We are looking for around 5 years of proven experience within General Ledger and Asset Accounting, practical experience with ERP systems and system development, a degree in Finance or Accounting, professional proficiency in English, and strong skills in resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate records. It is meritorious if you have a proven track record of leading senior accountants or finance specialists, knowledge of Finnish, and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
