Welcome to join our team at Rovaniemi Home Care! We are looking for practical nurses for summer work in Uittotiimi and Pohjolantiimi. Home care is provided either in the client's home or through remote visits, tailored individually according to the client's needs and a service and care plan. Through home care services, we support the client's own resources and functional capacity in a multidisciplinary manner, enabling high-quality, safe, and meaningful living at home. The clients are mainly elderly people whose health condition requires special attention and multidisciplinary care. Practical nurses are part of a multidisciplinary team where everyone's contribution is valued. Team members and the immediate supervisor support you in familiarizing yourself with the new work community. Your role as a practical nurse includes guiding and assisting with basic care, supporting daily activities with a rehabilitative approach that promotes the client's own resources. As a practical nurse, you act as the client's own caregiver, perform RAI assessments, and evaluate the client's functional capacity together with the team. The work also involves meeting elderly clients, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, and arranging support services together with the team if needed. The work is rewarding due to its variety and independence.
