We serve nearly 4 million citizens by maintaining hospital equipment and ICT environments, and providing ICT services to schools. We are now looking for a PMO Group Manager to lead and develop our project office operations. The PMO team manages project governance, support, and development, ensuring projects and internal development initiatives are executed according to agreed models. The team provides centralized support and guidance, maintains project portfolios, supports decision-making with portfolio reporting, and develops project management practices, processes, and systems. As the PMO Group Manager, you will oversee the overall management of the project office and lead the PMO specialists and assistants. You will work closely with the project management development manager to influence operational models, processes, and practices, and ensure that project management supports strategic goals. You will operate solution-oriented in a dynamic expert organization, utilizing strong teamwork, interaction, and collaboration skills, and building trustful relationships with stakeholders. To succeed, you should have extensive leadership experience, strong operational management skills, a solid background in PMO and project management, experience with project management and portfolio systems, customer interface experience, excellent teamwork and communication skills, and a suitable higher education degree or equivalent. Finnish language proficiency is essential. Preferred qualifications include experience in social and health care environments and project management certifications such as CPMO®, PRINCE2, PRINCE2 Agile, or IPMA. The position offers a permanent contract with a salary range of €3300–€4400/month, based on experience and skills. The work location is flexible across Finland, with offices in Kuopio, Tampere, Jyväskylä, Oulu, and Espoo.
