Tuusula – the art of action! The municipality of Tuusula is seeking an energetic and skilled Development Project Manager for housing projects on a permanent basis starting from October 1, 2026, as part of the Growth and Environment Division's Vitality, Housing, and Development team. The role involves diverse collaboration and development work related to housing and housing policy. The Project Manager is responsible for liaising with developers through meetings and newsletters, preparing statements for state-supported housing projects, and overseeing the monitoring of the MAL housing program as well as the municipality's annual housing policy review and reporting. In this position, you will actively engage with various stakeholders. You will represent Tuusula municipality in the KUUMA housing group, MAL housing group, and Keusote housing group. As a Development Project Manager, you will promote and develop housing construction in Tuusula in cooperation with developers. Your work includes both private and state-supported housing production and special housing development. You will work closely with different municipal units, especially land use. Additionally, you will collaborate on housing-related projects with the Central Uusimaa Wellbeing Area (Keusote), the Center for State-supported Housing Construction, and neighboring municipalities. You will be responsible for the municipality’s housing policy program, which is updated every council term, and will work with elected officials and management. You will actively monitor national housing policies and their impacts on the municipality. Qualifications include a suitable higher university degree and 3 years of experience in housing development and coordination, or a relevant university degree and 6 years of experience. Experience in the municipal sector and regional cooperation is considered an advantage. Salary and other employment conditions are governed by the Municipal Sector's General Collective Agreement (KVTES). The base salary for the Project Manager is €5219.63/month. Additional experience-based allowances of 3% or 8% of the base salary may be paid. The position is subject to a maximum six-month probation period. Interested?
