Pirte is a comprehensive occupational health and medical center operating in the Pirkanmaa region, providing occupational health services to public organizations, companies, associations, and private clients. As our long-term financial specialist moves on to new challenges, we are now seeking a skilled controller to join our team in a versatile expert role at the core of business operations and financial management. As a controller, your responsibilities include: - Coordinating and developing the financial, accounting, and reporting processes of our two companies - Maintaining financial and pricing data as part of the patient information system administrator team - Reporting and developing business insights from a financial perspective You will serve as a key link between service partners, including outsourced accounting, customer teams, and production managers. Your tasks also include supporting and advising Pirté staff, finance team, and managers in billing and reporting situations. You will participate in onboarding new clients and related integrations from your role. Success in this role requires the ability to understand and organize complex topics, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The focus is on understanding the overall picture, ensuring quality, and supporting decision-making. We are looking for a precise, proactive, and business-oriented financial professional who thrives in an agile and fast-paced organization. In this role, you will take significant responsibility and work at the heart of the company, so we expect an active work approach and a desire to develop processes together with the team. Previous experience in occupational health or healthcare environments is an advantage, but the most important factors are strong financial skills and diverse reporting experience. You should be able to understand business operations, produce information for management and clients, and be motivated to grow with Pirté. We expect: - A relevant higher education background, such as studies in accounting, financial management, or commercial fields - Over five years of relevant and diverse experience in financial management, business controlling, and/or reporting roles - Strong understanding of accounting and overall financial processes, experience in financial reporting, preparing and coordinating financial statements, and ensuring quality from external service providers - Experience as a main user of financial and operational management systems; experience with patient information systems is a plus - Skills and work experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), experience in developing reports, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to handle and analyze large datasets - Excellent Finnish and good English language skills - Good communication and teamwork skills, and a service-oriented attitude You will work under the personnel and finance manager as part of the finance team and stay closely connected with Pirté employees, partners, and clients as needed. In our small finance team, we cover for each other during vacations.
