Join us to work in Swedish in our language bath group in Roihuvuori! Welcome to work at Päiväkoti Roihuvuori in the Swedish language immersion program. Roihuvuori has a long tradition and effective structures for language immersion pedagogy. Our daycare is medium-sized, and we have the opportunity to get to know the entire staff by name. Our language immersion activities are expanding, and we are looking for two new childcare workers. You can influence which age group you wish to work with: a childcare worker can be assigned to the 4-year-old Ekorrar group, the 5-year-old Kaniner group, or the Igelkottar preschool group. All groups have 14 children and two educators. Roihuvuori is an ideal location for outdoor pedagogy and excursions, with forests, parks, the sea, and good transport connections. We are also renovating our premises during the summer, so in August, we will start building learning environments from scratch. We offer professional and active colleagues and a good working atmosphere. We expect commitment to the work community and joy in work! Our community is Finnish-speaking except for the language immersion, and communication with guardians is in Finnish. The childcare worker role in language immersion requires fluent Finnish and Swedish language skills. We consider Finnish-speaking applications. Why work with us? As a childcare worker, you plan and implement pedagogically focused care, upbringing, and education together with other staff, according to the operational plan of the early childhood education unit, Helsinki's early childhood education plan, preschool plan, and child's early childhood education plan. You are responsible for children's needs in daily activities and promote their health and well-being.
