We are seeking a special class teacher for our regional special class at Gesterby School for a temporary position from 1.9.2026 to 29.4.2027. In special classes, teamwork with teaching assistants is strong, and collaboration with other special education teachers is active. Gesterby School is a Finnish-speaking comprehensive school with students from grades 1 to 9. Our school includes general education classes, regional and municipal special education classes, and language immersion education. We have approximately 500 students. The school is located in the new school center Wiggessä, together with the Swedish-speaking Winellska School. Wigge is near the center of Kirkkonummi. Qualifications are based on the decree on the qualifications of education personnel (no 986/98). The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract within 30 days of the decision. Terms of employment are according to the municipal collective agreement for education personnel (OVTES). A three-month probation period applies to this fixed-term position.
