Executive Director sought to lead Agronomiliitto’s operations, finances and renewal. The role involves close collaboration with the board, members and a broad network of stakeholders to translate strategic directions into concrete activities and to build a financially sustainable organization. Key tasks include steering renewal, shaping the organization’s role as a connector and influencer in the Finnish food system, supporting research and practical collaboration between companies, associations and decision-makers, and managing the association’s assets and finances. The Director will identify new funding possibilities, partnerships and projects to strengthen the organization, support Ruoka-Akatemia’s goals, and ensure future continuity beyond the current project period. The position requires leadership experience, strong understanding of the Finnish food system, strategic thinking, ability to turn plans into action, financial acumen, and proficiency in building and sustaining networks. The successful candidate will cultivate relations with members, researchers, companies, organizations, the public sector and decision-makers. The Agronomiliitto operates with an agile, independent setup and a broad collaboration network, and the organization is built and strengthened in a governance-driven manner according to needs. The office is located in downtown Helsinki. The salary is about 8,000 euros per month, with final salary based on experience and skills. The start date is early 2027. applications by Sep 27, 2026.
