Would you like to be part of developing systems that impact the daily lives of millions of Finns? We are looking for a developer for the K-Kauppa platform development team. The service is a central part of Kesko's daily grocery trade. We actively develop Kesko's internal development organization and strengthen our teams with experienced professionals who have a high-quality approach, technical insight, and an eye for functional customer solutions. As a Full Stack developer, you will be part of the K-Tools development team, which builds and maintains digital services for Kesko's grocery store staff. These services are business-critical and enable daily service for millions of customers. The team includes both Kesko's own developers and experts from leading consulting firms in Finland, so you will be surrounded by experienced developers and designers. You will directly influence how the services feel and look from the user perspective, design and build functionalities, maintain high test coverage, and ensure quality. You will work in a modern DevOps model, closely collaborating with design and business. We seek a self-driven person who makes suitable solutions and has a genuine interest in customer satisfaction, usability, and quality. We expect at least 5 years of experience in modern web development, backend skills (Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js, Fastify, Postgres), frontend skills (React, Tailwind), infrastructure skills (Azure, Functions & Service Bus, Terraform), a solution-oriented work approach, experience or strong interest in AI-assisted development (e.g., GitHub Copilot), and fluent Finnish and English skills. Additionally, experience with event-driven and microservice architectures, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), observability (OpenTelemetry / Dynatrace), ETL, working with large data sets, and e-commerce and daily grocery trade knowledge are valued.
