We are seeking workers for Mond’s shutdown at Mond in Sorsala, Kuopio, from 26 September to 1 October 2026, with additional weekend shifts on 26–27 September for those interested in weekend work only. The task is to clean electrical air filters. The shutdown at Mond in Sorsala starts on Saturday 26 September. This autumn the estimated duration of the shutdown is about six days. Work shifts are 8 hours long: morning 07:00–15:00, evening 15:00–23:00, and night 23:00–07:00. Weekend shifts will be done as two 12-hour shifts, starting Saturday morning 07:00–19:00 and night 19:00–07:00. You are part of KiPaJyKä’s shutdown crew. The work sites are reached by company vehicles, so you may not need your own car as long as you can get to the Lukkokuja yard or Mond’s designated parking areas. We are looking for physically capable people with a positive attitude and work ethic. Attitude and motivation are central, as is responsible and safety-conscious work conduct. Prior experience in a similar role is not required; being careful and reliable is key. Any construction and industrial knowledge and experience with lock-out/tag-out or other shutdown tasks is a plus. The job requires a valid occupational safety card, and we would like you to also have a fire safety card. You must be of legal age and have proficient Finnish language skills. Salary is 14.19 €/h. Pay bonuses exist for shift differentials and TES additions. We follow the construction industry collective agreement. Payday is twice a month, on the 15th and the last day of the month. The position is fixed-term for the duration of the shutdown and is with ATA Henkilöstöpalvelut. Before the industrial shutdown starts, we will arrange the factory’s required electronic orientation.
