We are seeking a vocational school special education teacher to enhance our students' learning, well-being, and participation. This is a permanent position starting from August 1, 2026. The duties of a special education teacher at a vocational school include: Individual instruction and guidance for students, Assessing support needs, Collaborating with teachers, counselors, student welfare services, and workplace partners, Identifying and supporting learning barriers, Providing small group or individual instruction when necessary, Implementing the HOKS process, Working on decisions related to special support, Planning and implementing pedagogical support measures. Applicants must have the qualifications and experience of a special education teacher. Success in the role requires good communication and collaboration skills, the ability to work with diverse learners, a solution-oriented approach, and flexibility. We consider qualifications in vocational special education, experience working in a vocational institution, experience in identifying special support needs, multidisciplinary student welfare work, and good command of digital learning environments as advantages. We value an active and present work attitude — you move confidently within learning environments and classrooms alongside students. The position primarily involves the construction and transportation sectors, but later the special education tasks may also be assigned to other fields as needed. Qualifications are determined according to Regulation 986/98. Before starting employment, the selected candidate must provide an acceptable health certificate and a criminal background check as required by law. We observe a six-month probationary period in recruitment. In the absence of qualified applicants, the position may be filled temporarily by a person who does not meet the qualification requirements.
