Trust & Safety Evaluator with English from Australia - TELUS International AI Inc. - Tammerfors, Finland

Trust & Safety Evaluator conduct adversarial testing and safety evaluation of generative AI features. Main tasks are crafting queries, evaluating the safety of generated content and providing critical feedback. This role requires creative thinking about potential misuse, deep cultural and linguistic knowledge, and the ability to identify subtle safety risks. Key responsibilities include writing, reviewing and evaluating diverse and challenging queries designed to test the system's limits and expose problematic outputs, designing and executing sequences of queries simulating realistic, unfolding conversations, crafting attack scenarios using techniques like crescendo attacks and context manipulation, guiding adversarial query crafting and safety evaluation, assigning risk ratings to AI generated content, detecting and articulating potential biases, identifying subtle unsafe elements, evaluating specific cultural and language knowledge, leveraging familiarity with relevant domains, completing adversarial testing tasks within time constraints, and maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail while working at pace. Required skills include Australian English language skills, in-depth cultural awareness of Australia, candidates located in Finland and eligible to work fulltime in Finland, 2+ years of experience in adversarial testing or similar, experience crafting sequential adversarial queries, understanding of online content safety policies, familiarity with safety taxonomies, understanding of younger user behavior, critical thinking about misuse, excellent written communication skills, capacity to document findings, domain knowledge of relevant fields, optional skills include trust & safety background, understanding of safety systems, fluency in additional languages, and familiarity with machine learning concepts.
