How does working in a school with reasonable class sizes, well-resourced learning support, a rural environment, and a close-knit and developing work community sound? Welcome to us! The municipality of Siikalatva is seeking a personal school assistant for a fixed-term position at Ganander School in Rantsila from August 10, 2026, to June 5, 2027. The assistant's working hours are 30 hours per week. Applicants are expected to have education and experience as a school assistant or practical nurse (child and youth care and education) and experience working within a school community. Salary according to KVTES. The employment relationship includes a six (6) month probation period. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on Background Checks of Persons Working with Children and Young People (504/2002) before the appointment is confirmed.
