Digia's Defence & Security unit is a stable and growing business with a team that has worked on high-security projects for over 20 years. You will join a highly skilled team where your current work is more meaningful than ever. We are looking for a network specialist to work in demanding and security-critical environments in Helsinki or Tampere. Your work combines strong technical network expertise with the ability to communicate clearly and fluently with project teams, architects, customers, and other stakeholders. You will be involved in implementing, developing, and maintaining reliable and secure network environments and ensuring that network solutions support the overall system technically, functionally, and from a cybersecurity perspective. Your tasks include supporting the architecture team in designing cloud and hybrid networks for customers, executing proof-of-concept and development projects, designing and implementing infrastructure services and solutions, especially network and DNS services, participating in the design of centralized monitoring and management solutions, and continuously developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting related services. We expect extensive experience in designing, implementing, and operating Azure Networking services, strong knowledge of at least one major network device/software vendor (e.g., Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cato, Zscaler), versatile experience with public and private DNS services, and experience with network monitoring and management solutions. Certification AZ-700 is required, along with good understanding of cloud and network architecture security best practices, basic knowledge of ZTNA, SSE, and SASE architectures, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently and solution-oriented in customer projects. Good Finnish and English skills are required. Additional skills such as certifications from major network technology vendors, Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500), ingress controller experience, Entra ID knowledge, CAF Enterprise Scale model familiarity, and experience with network devices and software are considered an advantage. All personnel undergo a security clearance, which is a prerequisite for the role.
