We are seeking a full-time English and Swedish language teacher at Kauriala High School for a fixed-term position from August 11, 2026, to June 15, 2027. The position is based on parental leave. Our high school has approximately 600 students and offers a general line, a national LUMA special task line, and a local arts line starting August 1, 2026. We are looking for a collaborative individual with an active, cross-disciplinary approach to work. We value expertise in utilizing information and communication technology in teaching, good interaction and teamwork skills, and experience in teaching. You should be able to consider different learners and learning environments in daily school life and understand the lives of young people. Qualifications for teaching staff are determined according to Regulation 986/1998. Salary and other employment terms are based on OVTES. The base salary for qualified applicants is starting from €3,491.69/month. Salary is influenced by education, work experience, and the specific demands of the position. Before starting work, a criminal background check must be provided as required by law (504/2002). A five-month probation period applies to the position.
