We focus on game cuisine and local produce, serving guests staying with us with breakfast, a buffet dinner and in spring as a ski-café. We are now looking for a cook for the winter season in Ruka for 2026-2027. Kultala is a contract-based restaurant, so your duties include preparing high-quality buffet and plated dishes. We require a culinary education and a few years of kitchen experience. Finnish language skills are essential and English is also beneficial since our winter clientèle is international. You should be fast, proactive and not afraid of guests. We offer a chance to work in stunning mountain scenery with a versatile set of leisure opportunities and a skilled team. It’s a warm, family-owned company that’s a joy to work for. Work starts in early December and runs to the end of March 2027. Pay is competitive based on your skills and experience, around 15–17 €/h, and accommodation on-site at a favourable price when needed. You’ll have Lisäpalvelu’s support and security throughout your trip; we’ll check in on you on-site. You can focus on your work and enjoy the scenery. What do we expect from you? A smile that never fades in customer service situations and excellent team-play. A positive attitude toward work. Experience in the restaurant industry and/or a relevant education. Hygienic passport.
