Are you the cheerful and proactive practical nurse we are looking for, who wants to join our team in a permanent position in Forssa at Vanamo? Start date negotiable. We also value an active approach and enthusiasm in organizing stimulating activities for our residents. Vanamo provides 24-hour assisted living in two floors, with a total of 40-44 elderly residents. As a practical nurse, your task is to provide comprehensive basic care and support for residents in collaboration with other staff, according to care and service plans, in a way that supports the resident’s functional capacity. We expect you to have the skills and ability to work customer-oriented and multidisciplinary. Good teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as open communication, are appreciated. At Vanamo, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team including a team coordinator, nurses, practical nurses, and care assistants. The work involves three-shift rotation. Qualifications include a suitable degree according to the Act on Qualifications of Social Welfare and Health Care Professionals (272/2005, section 28). Registration with the Finnish Register of Social Welfare and Health Care Professionals is required. We use the Lifecare electronic health record system. In addition to the base salary, experience-based supplements of 3%-8% are paid. The length of service also affects the accrual of vacation days. The working hours are 38.25 hours per week. Workers with elderly and disabled clients must present a criminal record extract as per the Act on Background Checks for Social and Health Care Professionals (741/2023, section 28.1) and the Criminal Records Act (6.4). Salary and other employment terms are governed by the SOTE agreement. The trial period is six months. In direct patient and client work, vaccination against infectious diseases as required by the Infectious Diseases Act (48 §) and a tuberculosis certificate (55 §) are mandatory.
