Vantaa City, Education and Learning, Early Childhood Education. Keimolanmäki Daycare. We are looking for an enthusiastic early childhood education teacher to join our team at Keimolanmäki Daycare starting August 10, 2026. Keimolanmäki Daycare operates on a home-area model with a total of 6 home areas. Each area has 2 child groups with dedicated facilities. The daycare's well-equipped spaces enable strong small-group activities in accordance with the early childhood education plan. We participate in the ProVaka model, which is based on guiding behavior through positive feedback. In this model, adults serve as role models for children, and it promotes an inclusive environment as well as a development of a social skills-oriented and consistent guidance culture among staff. Keimolanmäki School is located on the same premises. We collaborate daily and share facilities such as the cafeteria, gymnasium, and yard. Vantaa pays a relocation allowance of 1500 euros for those moving from outside the neighboring municipalities after a six-month probation period. The relocation allowance applies to permanent positions and only to early childhood education teachers, special education teachers, and daycare managers. Terms of employment are governed by the Municipal Education Personnel Collective Agreement (OVTES). Salary: 3060-3162.74 EUR/month. An additional 15 EUR/month is paid for those with the qualification of early childhood education teacher, and 37.88 EUR/month for those with a Master of Education degree. Experience-based salary supplement of 3-8% applies. Required permits: The selected person must present a valid criminal background check. For those working with children under school age, a tuberculosis examination report is required (Tartuntatautilaki § 55). Number of positions: 3. Trial period: 6 months. Full-time/part-time: Full-time. Type of employment: Permanent. Working hours: 38 hours and 15 minutes per week.
