A fixed-term position as a SPECIAL CLASS TEACHER for BASIC EDUCATION is available at Oulujoen School for the 2026-2027 school year. The position covers grades 1-6. Oulujoen School was established in autumn 1939 and has approximately 200 students in grades 1-6, with a long history. The school participates in several networks and development projects, including the Learning Network and STEAM development project. Co-teaching is implemented across multiple grade levels. Qualifications are determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel 986/1998. Original certificates demonstrating qualifications must be presented during the interview. Experience in developing special education and co-teaching is considered an advantage. Salary is determined according to the municipal collective agreement for the education sector. Before the appointment is confirmed, the selected candidate must, within 30 days of receiving the decision, present a criminal background check issued under the Act on Background Checks of Persons Working with Children (504/2002), Section 3.
