Jobbeskrivning

Would you like to build quality from the ground up rather than just maintain it? Aisti is currently building a new generation of biobased acoustic panel production in Finland. We are now looking for a Quality Manager who wants to be involved in developing quality operational models, practices, and culture in an expanding international industrial environment. With us, you will not be working within a ready-made system; you will build it together with the rest of the organization. What will your work look like? You will lead the company's quality function and work closely with production, product development, and procurement. You will develop and implement practical quality management systems (QMS), ensure compliance with customer and standard requirements, and help prevent errors proactively. Your work will be a mix of development and daily operations: setting directions and processes, as well as resolving concrete quality deviations with teams. Key responsibilities include: Building and developing the quality management system (QMS), Coordinating audits and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001), Handling quality deviations and complaints, root cause analysis (CAPA), Developing quality in production and with suppliers, Monitoring quality metrics and promoting continuous improvement, Developing quality practices and skills within the organization. Our locations are currently in Jyväskylä and Kitee. You can work flexibly partly remotely, but the role requires readiness to work on-site at our different locations as needed. The position involves some travel. Our value is exceptional. This means a desire to do things exceptionally—not just very well, but to make things work, even if the approach differs from previous methods. It also means a continuous desire to develop as an individual, team member, and company. We openly share the realities of work: not everything is ready, and it won't be immediately. There will be situations where quick solutions are needed in unfinished settings. In these moments, collaboration, practicality, and the ability to prioritize correctly are emphasized. What do we expect from you? - Suitable higher education degree - Experience in quality management in a production environment and understanding of quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and audits - Willingness to build new things and operate in an unfinished environment - Good collaboration and communication skills, fluent in Finnish and English. Advantages include: - Experience with multiple locations or growing organizations' quality - Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methods - Experience with supplier quality, customer complaints, certifications, or audits. What do we offer? - The opportunity to build a quality system practically from scratch and influence practices and company development - Flexible hybrid work model - An enthusiastic and flat hierarchy work community. Additionally, we offer: - An option program for all staff - Sports and cultural benefits (ePassi) - Comprehensive occupational health services - Leisure travel insurance. At Aisti, we want you to be proud of what you build, not just what you maintain. The salary range for this position is approximately €4,500–€5,000/month, depending on the experience of the selected candidate. Interested? For more information, contact the recruiting supervisor, Director PMO & HSEQ, Antti Burakoff (anbu@aisti.com, tel. 044776 2776 / leave a callback request if needed). The application is open until June 14, 2026. About Aisti as an employer. Aisti is a next-generation material technology company building a modern production facility in Kitee and a new way of industrial manufacturing in Finland. We produce acoustic panels from wood fiber using foam insulation technology. Our products are safe, durable, recyclable, and competitive. Our solutions serve architects, contractors, and developers and support the transition to lower emissions and circular economy solutions. Sustainability guides all our actions, from material choices to production and daily work practices. At Aisti, you can influence how the new factory's operational methods and the future of construction will take shape. We have the courage to think differently and the ability to do things better. We are not just building a factory; we are creating better environments for people and nature. Our mission is clear: Changing Construction for Good. Apply now!
