We are looking for a project manager to participate in the preparation, planning, guidance, and ensuring a good outcome of city office space projects. This is a fixed-term two-year position starting on September 1, 2026. One of your key projects is the renovation of the City Hall block, a unique entity combining valuable architectural heritage, modern work environments, and functional everyday life. Success in this role requires the ability to combine new and old and understanding how spaces support people's work and city operations. As a project manager, you will be responsible as the user representative for space projects related to city office premises, from preparation to implementation and commissioning. The main focus is on ensuring the user perspective and overall management of space projects. You will represent the user in planning, phasing, and coordination, ensuring the city office's perspective is consistently included in all project phases. Collaboration and communication about project progress and key decisions are part of the role. You will ensure that project goals are met, develop project plans, and lead the overall process to completion. You will be responsible as the user representative for project progress, schedules, monitoring, and reporting. You will guide the design of space solutions and ensure they support organizational needs, functionality, and cost-efficiency. You will coordinate collaboration among various actors—designers, users, and city experts. You will ensure smooth relocation to interim spaces and act as an active communicator throughout the project phases, ensuring clear and timely information flow. To succeed, you need to manage large entities and push things forward decisively in cooperation with different stakeholders. We expect you to have experience in project management, especially related to spaces, construction, or work environments. Strong project management skills including planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting are essential. You should have insight into space development and understanding of how spaces support work and organizational goals. Ability to operate in a multi-stakeholder environment and build effective cooperation is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to make complex matters understandable and motivate others. An independent, solution-oriented, and responsible work attitude is essential. A higher education degree supporting success in this role is expected. We offer a basic salary of €4572.54/month plus a 3 or 8% experience allowance according to KVTES.
