Are you interested in electrical design as an expert and want to influence directly on technical solutions in significant projects? We are involved in major infrastructure and rail transport projects, designing and coordinating electrical systems at different stages. As an electrical designer, you will work on diverse and demanding projects with experienced specialists, responsible for your technical design area and advancing solutions as part of a multidisciplinary team. Our work is based on trust and smooth collaboration: flat hierarchy, easy access to help, and decisions made close to the work. This role is suitable even for early career stages with about two years of relevant experience. You will receive support from experienced experts, and plans are reviewed together at different project phases. You can focus on technical design or grow towards responsibility planning or project management. Your background may also include related design tasks like creating plans, documentation, and project advancement, with responsibilities increasing with experience. You will handle a variety of electrical design tasks from small projects to large, complex ones, including investigations, basic and detailed design, plan creation, and documentation (drawings, lists, technical descriptions). You will collaborate with the design team and clients, participate in meetings, and proactively advance tasks. Our team operates across multiple locations: about 15 members across Finland, mainly based in Helsinki (Pasila/Tripla), working flexibly also remotely. You will be involved in client-facing roles and project development. Our unit offers expert services to railway and tram operators, cities, municipalities, and renewable energy sectors, designing and coordinating electrical systems in infrastructure and rail environments to build a safer, more functional, and environmentally friendly environment. The ideal background includes a suitable electrical engineering degree (DI or engineer), relevant experience in electrical design or related tasks (e.g., electrical systems, industrial electricity, energy systems, rail/infrastructure, or building services), experience in producing and progressing design materials, proactive learning attitude, courage to act in client interactions, familiarity with AutoCAD or CADMATIC, good Finnish language skills, and fluent English skills.
