Solution Sales Lead - Telia Finland Oyj - Distans - Globalt

We’re looking for a Solution Sales Lead to join us at Telia. I’m Kari Maikkola, Head of Data Center Solutions, and I’m searching for a senior-level data center business professional ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on driving solution sales, expanding key accounts, and delivering business development for the Telia Helsinki Data Center (HDC). What you’ll do: In this role, you will act as a customer requirement interpreter in projects for both Finnish and international customers, developing service-based business and championing our data center capabilities. Develop commercial offerings and hybrid data center strategies to align precisely with customer needs and market opportunities. Create and execute business development plans while actively serving as an evangelist for HDC colocation services within professional networks and social media. Consult and collaborate closely with executive-level decision-makers and key international accounts to bridge commercial and technical requirements. Monitor industry trends, technological updates, and competitive shifts to continuously maintain and improve our flagship data center solutions. What will help you thrive in this role: You are a proactive team player and a visionary doer who is social, courageous, and detail-oriented, with the ability to take calculated risks and stay focused on what matters most. Proven experience in the data center industry (colocation and cloud business), with a strong background in sales and interacting with international, executive-level decision-makers. Strong knowledge of hybrid environments, data communication networks, and the overarching holistic technical foundations of modern data centers. Ability to design commercial offerings, leverage established professional networks, manage project deadlines carefully, and drive results independently. Fluency in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills tailored for a cross-border business environment.
