Voimala 1889 offers diverse opportunities located in the city center of Oulu, in an old power plant that has been renovated into a cozy and modern event venue. The facility includes a 200m2 banquet hall with a kitchen and an 800m2 event area, Prunnitori. A key part of the Voimala experience is delicious food. Our food philosophy is based on flavors suited to the atmosphere of each occasion, with small surprising twists. We are now looking for a lunch chef to join our top team! We offer the opportunity to work in Voimala's lunch kitchen! The job involves preparing tasty salads and delicious lunches. Requirements include vocational training in the field and at least 2 years of experience working in a kitchen. We expect you to have a flexible, proactive attitude, to work well independently as well as with colleagues, and to be able to handle order placements independently. Start is at the beginning of June, and the work will last until the end of August. Salary according to TES/contract. The selected person will be employed through Lisäpalvelu Pohjois-Suomi Oy, and we also provide support and security throughout your journey. We ensure everything goes as agreed and that you enjoy your time at the venue. What do we expect from you? * At least 2 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen. * Excellent team player but able to work independently in the kitchen. * Finnish language skills are essential. * Hygienic certificate.
