Do you have mechanical knowledge of cranes? Do you know what a thorough crane inspection entails? Our client company is looking to strengthen their team with a crane inspector in the Southwest Finland region. This is a direct hire, meaning you will be employed directly by our client company. What does the role involve? As a crane inspector, you will perform commissioning inspections on new and modified equipment, carry out periodic inspections and test loads. In addition to inspections, you will ensure that cranes operate properly and that maintenance is performed proactively. You will handle inspections and maintenance independently according to customer needs. You will have access to a company car, which only requires a B driving license. Sometimes the days can be windy, literally. You will be maintaining bridge cranes at several meters height, so your knees cannot shake at heights even in windy weather. The work is generally in one shift, but in urgent cases, work may also be in the evenings and on weekends. Could you be the crane inspector we are looking for? Your background could be as a maintenance technician or automation technician. You understand machine mechanics and have experience with electrical work as well. You hold a crane inspector certification and may have gained a few years of experience inspecting lifting equipment. You are autonomous and able to organize your own work.
