Are you passionate about the festive season, customer interactions, and fast-paced store work? Do you want to help create a successful Christmas for our customers and make every encounter meaningful? We are seeking temporary sales assistants for the Christmas season for our Matinkylä, Leppävaara, and Espoonlahti sales teams. The contracts start on 9 November 2026 and end on 31 December 2026. The roles are on a 15-hour per week schedule, with more shifts during the pre-Christmas period. During the season, stores are full of energy and opportunities to engage with customers. You should enjoy a dynamic environment, take initiative, and aim to provide each customer with a positive shopping experience. Our service concept focuses on personal customer care and selling in line with the Finnish Best Customer Encounter standard. In addition to active customer interactions, your duties include maintaining the store’s appearance and other daily store chores. We offer diverse and interesting sales work in a friendly and supportive team within the Otava group, where our values of responsibility, quality, courage and closeness are evident in daily work. Salary is according to the store TES at task level B. Pay: 13.66 EUR/hour – 15.64 EUR/hour depending on experience, plus evening allowance after 18:00 of 4.18 EUR, Saturday after 13:00 allowance of 5.46 EUR/hour, and Sunday work pays double. We expect: a cheerful and active customer-service mindset and a desire to succeed in sales; previous experience in store and cashier work; fluent Finnish (English is an advantage); willingness to work varied shifts according to store hours; eagerness to take on new tasks with an open mind and meet customers in the best possible way during the Christmas rush.
