Welding Coordinator / Welding and Quality Coordinator Köyliö Would you like to be responsible for the quality of welding and develop operations in a practical production environment? We are looking for a welding coordinator for our client Tamminiitty Oy, in a permanent position. The role focuses primarily on welding quality management, development of welding processes, and supporting production. The ideal candidate is familiar with welding standards, enjoys daily production activities, and wants to ensure high-quality end products. In this role, you will operate at the interface of production, customers, and quality management. The position offers an opportunity to influence the company's welding quality, procedures, and continuous improvement. Tamminiitty is a company with approximately 50 professionals and a turnover of about eight million euros, providing contract manufacturing and pre- and sub-assembly for the metal industry. The entire process from sheet metal cutting to finished components is handled under one roof. Unlike many competitors, surface treatment is also done in-house — both powder coating and wet painting are available, keeping quality and delivery times under control. The work is governed by the certified ISO 9001:2015 quality system and the ISO 3834-2 welding standard. Your responsibilities include among others: - Daily quality control and assurance of welding - Drafting, maintaining, and developing welding procedures (WPS) - Monitoring compliance with welding standards and customer requirements - Supporting production with technical questions related to welding - Collaborating with customers, production, and other stakeholders - Maintaining and developing the quality system alongside welding coordination We expect you to have: - Experience in welding coordination or welding quality management - Good knowledge of welding standards and quality systems - Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and customer requirements - Systematic and precise work approach - Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production and customers Having IWS, IWT, or IWE certification is considered a strong advantage, but relevant experience in welding quality management and coordination is also valued.
