Ledande IT-specialist (fastighetsdata system) - Maanmittauslaitos

The National Land Survey of Finland is seeking a senior IT specialist for the Data Management Digital Solutions unit, to be employed on a permanent basis starting from October 1, 2026, or as agreed. We are looking for a backend- and database-oriented expert to develop and maintain information systems related to property data management. Your work will involve handling key registers and systems, ensuring their functionality, quality, and usability as part of the National Land Survey's IT management. The position is located within the IT services for property delivery production. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining systems to meet the requirements of digital services, data quality, and real-time information. In the future, the role will include redesigning the property data system and planning and implementing development projects enabled by legislative changes. In these projects, you will influence the renewal of key systems and operational practices for the long term. The role involves developing property information systems towards modern, interface- and service-based solutions. This position offers insight into extensive and long-lasting system entities combining databases, geospatial data, application logic, and government processes. You will work closely with various experts as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other specialists in development tasks.
