We are recruiting on a direct-hire basis for our client, Balanus Oy, to fill a project manager role in a growing organization. Balanus has grown significantly in recent years, and with that, the size and number of projects and related tasks have increased. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational leadership of projects and the coordination of practical work. The role is new and originates from the company’s growth. As project manager you will oversee the overall management of worksites and projects and serve as the link between site work, site management and project management. You will be responsible for schedules, resources, documentation and budget monitoring, and ensure that information flows between parties in a controlled and professional manner. As a project manager you will support foremen in daily challenges, identify potential risks and modification needs in a proactive manner, handle safety aspects, and ensure smooth collaboration between site production and procurement. We expect over 5 years of experience from industrial piping and practical understanding of the field, knowledge of how installations are performed, what resources the work requires and how changes and additions are calculated. Strong project management experience is required, and experience from the construction industry is viewed favourably. The position is full-time and permanent, and you will be employed directly by Balanus Oy. Your workplace will be Mäntsälä, but travel within Finland to projects is required. Start date is negotiable and as soon as a suitable candidate is found. Requirements include: >5 years’ experience with industrial piping; strong project leadership and coordination experience; ability to manage multiple complex tasks; ability to collaborate with various stakeholders; fluent Finnish; basic/moderate English (primarily written).
