The City of Salo's Infrastructure Services is seeking a Street Foreman. The service area is responsible for the maintenance, renovation, planning, and construction of the entire city's street infrastructure and park areas. The Street Foreman is responsible for leading maintenance work on traffic routes in collaboration with another Street Foreman. The key tasks of the Street Foreman include: Summer and winter maintenance work, Small renovation projects, Supervision of paving work, Managing the traffic sign workshop, Supervisory tasks for infrastructure workers, Maintenance of scrap vehicles, Supervision of street lighting maintenance tasks. The qualification requirement is a technical diploma in the field of civil engineering, construction foreman, or a degree in construction engineering/AMK from a technical institute. The position requires at least three years of experience in leading maintenance work, municipal engineering design using CAD-based design systems. The role requires Tieturva 2 certification and a valid driver’s license (at least B), the possibility of using your own car, and computer skills. We also value good interpersonal skills and an independent work approach. The salary is according to the technical agreement. The task-specific salary is €3,731.07/month. Additional pay based on work experience may also be provided according to the collective agreement. We also pay a personal supplement to all employees whose employment has lasted over six months. The trial period is six months if the conditions of the collective agreement are met.
