We are now seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to strengthen our Rantalainen Eastern team! We are looking for an experienced and growing team member with payroll expertise. In this role, you will work consultatively, managing your clients' payroll comprehensively. You will regularly communicate with your clients and provide your expertise for their use. As a senior, your tasks will also include supporting clients and team members with payroll questions. You will have the opportunity to work with interesting clients and influence your workday. You can plan and execute your work independently, but you will always have the support of your team and our extensive expert organization behind you. Through internal career paths at Rantalainen, you can advance to specialist or managerial roles if you wish. Your team’s base will be at the Rantalainen Eastern office closest to you, such as Jyväskylä, Lahti, or Kotka. We hope you can work at our office when needed, together with other team members. What do we expect from you? We hope you have the appropriate education for the role and a broad understanding of payroll administration. You have already gained several years of experience in comprehensive payroll tasks using Mepco or Netvisor payroll software. You understand payroll processes and value your expertise. We are also interested in any special skills you may have, such as industry-specific knowledge, software, or client consulting, as well as your development aspirations. The final job description and title will depend on your skills and interests. We especially appreciate a positive attitude towards customer service and good communication skills. A consultative work approach is natural for you, and you genuinely want to develop our clients’ business! A PHT qualification is an advantage, but if you do not have it yet, we will support you in obtaining it, and we will reward you for completing the qualification.
